WHY I WON'T USE MULTI-LEVEL COMPANIES ANYMORE!Over the years I have signed on with a three Multi-level programs that I felt offered good products, even though I did not like my low percentage mark-up and all the hype I had to read through, plus the memorized clap trap on how to hype everyone. Oh yes, and there were the little expensive brochures and business packages to buy too that I had to overlook as well. The first was Rexall International that had a program for unique homeopathics a few years back, but their prices ended up being four times higher than what I was able to find when I went direct, so I discontinued their line. Understand I had invested over $5,000 in this MLM deal and never got the first bonus check!
Then, I got involved with Living Air. I really liked the air purifier and felt like it was something HHA Members could benefit from. Living Air, which sells the Living Air Purifier, threatened to sue me after I had sold many of their air purifiers, all because I had put the air purifiers in my catalog and newsletter which apparently is against their MLM rules. The other thing that really ticks me off about this company is with all the expensive brochures, sales hype, etc., their order line is pathetic. I have called in to order the machines on many occasions with a little phone message that says, "You are the 23rd caller, the wait will be approximately 25 minutes, please stay on the line." People this is nuts! How many of you would sit on the phone 25 minutes to order at HHA??? NONE! Wouldn't you think a few more sales people would be good? I, for one, don't have 25 minutes to sit on their order line to place an order. Oh yes, and you have to pay an additional $30.00 per year to even buy from this company! How far would HHA get if we charged all our members $30.00 a year just to buy from us??? I have sold many of these machines over the years and never got one check from this company either. The cost for brochures on these machines alone were over $3,000 and they would not even let me put the air purifier prices on them! Also they would not tolerate the fact that I wanted to discount them to my members and save you guys $100.00 a machine!
The latest one and last one I will ever deal with is the Ideal Health. This is the MLM company that does the custom vitamins based on a sent in customer urine sample. I thought this was a good service for our customers and even tried it myself as it came highly recommended from a doctor friend of mine. I put it in the catalog, in my newsletter and on the web site. Everything seemed fine until I got a call from the Vice President of the company who saw my web page and told me I had 20 minutes to get their copyrighted material off my web site as they were freezing my account. Now understand that I had worked with my upline in designing this web site and I used no copyrighted material from them at all. Now I told him, I had personally written a testimonial about the product and it had nothing to do with their copyrighted material that was on their web page. Also that the Internet is public domain and I am entitled to write about my personal stories as I see fit. This guy was a real jackass and told me it did not matter and he was freezing my account in 20 minutes, period! In both cases, Living Air and Ideal Health, will not let it's members (sales force) advertise the products on the Internet or in their catalogs or in newsletters. Now this is where I became unglued. What kind of idiot companies are these, that spend millions of dollars on hype, can't answer their phones properly, and won't let anyone advertise their stuff. Certainly not customer oriented ones! These multi-level companies, in my opinion, are also in violation of the United States laws that prohibit monopolies. They get an item, patent it, and aggressively sue anyone that even tries to sell it or come out with a cheaper version. They attempt to monopolize the industry! But guess what, the war is on and I have made it my business to find good MLM items and have them private labeled at prices that are affordable. I do admit that they come out with some pretty good products. Understand that the ones I have found are the same quality products or better in some cases; despite what these MLM salesman will say, and they will certainly try to feed you a line of lies to protect the terrible prices they are charging.
SOME HHA PRODUCTS WITHOUT MLM PRICES:
COLLOIDAL MINERALS - 1 quart size. Taken from the same place all the Colloidal Minerals are and ours has reduced heavy metals. Colloidal Mineral products were made famous by the well known veterinarian Dr. Joel Wallach, who did the audio tape, "Dead Doctors Don't Lie." Currently on sale for only $13.00 quart! I have seen this as high as $45.00 a quart at MLM.
KLAMATH LAKE BLUE/GREEN ALGAE - Ours does come from Klamath Lake and we have actually had the MLMers tell us it can't be the same thing! It is! HHA Price: $12.95 for 90 caps.
NONI - Oh boy, this is a good one. Noni is a good product and after I read about the healing benefits of it, I decided to investigate. The MLM's sell the actual juice. Well, many people have candida problems, diabetes and other reasons they don't need the sugar, so I chose to have this one done in capsule form as I felt the broad based healing benefits were even greater than the juice.
The HHA Cost $15.00 for 90 capsAPPLE CIDER VINEGAR (Our own name) This is a very close formula to products being sold at $45 - $60 for weight loss. HHA Price - Generous 180 capsule bottle - $15.00
BETA GLUCANS - This has to be the scam of the century next to the little calcium packets that come from the coral in Japan! Beta Glucans is a powerful supplemental product and many companies including MLM took advantage of the outstanding research on immune system enhancement and went after cancer and AIDs patients nailing them for $40 - $60 per bottle. Our HHA Beta Glucans actually has added Maitake (which is the expensive part of the formula!) Our 90 count bottle is currently only $12.00!
HHA HERBAL 5000 with Chromium - This formula contains Ephedra and Kola Nut and is another one that people were getting gouged for at $35-$45 a bottle. This is a good, safe product that works, provided you can take the stimulants. Some people don't like these stimulant herbs and this is contraindicated for high blood pressure, diabetes and pregnancy. HHA Price is only $18.95 for large bottle of 150 capsules.
CHLORELLA - This is an exceptional micro algae product. Contains many vital minerals and nutrients and has also been shown to help remove heavy metals and toxins when used daily. It will boost energy too and contains the highest levels of healing Chlorophyll. The MLM companies hype that it has to be "broken cell wall" in order for it to work. Guess what? Ours IS broken cell wall!!! HHA Chlorella are only $9.95 for 100 caps! Compare that one for an eye opener!
MSM SULPHUR - I am hear to tell you that there is only ONE supplier of this trademarked formula in the US, so it all comes from the same place!!! The research on this shows tremendous benefit for fibromyalgia, arthritis, candida, chronic infections and migraines. HHA price is just amazing when you compare it. $12.00 per bottle for 1000 mg. 120 cap large bottle!
SPIRULINA - Here's another one that we can't say enough good things about as far as energy increasing, natural iron, minerals, vitamins, etc., but boy can you get skinned if you listen to the MLM's on this one. HHA Spirulina - 100 tablets - 500 mg are only $6.95! Hard to believe isn't it?
HHA CIRCULATION PLUS POWDER - This is a product that helps reduce cholesterol quickly, increases artery circulation and is very good for the heart. It is safe and proven to be very effective. The closest thing on the market sells for $54.95 per bottle. HHA Circulation Plus powder - 12 oz. is only $23.95.

Yikes, the MLM's sell a similar machine for over $550.00, and you have to sign up as a distributor and all that other stuff. We found a very similar machine at a buy direct price and can offer it for only $349.00. We hope to be able to lower the price even more when our volume buying gets up. By the way, we were threatened by the MLM company that sells the "Chi Machine". They said they were going to take us to court, we had to remove the one we had advertised on our web site immediately, etc. They said that they were suing our supplier. After investigating, I found this intimidation call and letter to be a lie, and we will continue to sell this excellent machine as long as I can get them!

"I was surprised when you came out with Ideal Health. I had an experience with this company when it first came out. Like you I thought the analysis was great. Three of us with varying illnesses joined and our ages varied up to 10 years difference. Our analysis were almost identical and of course all the supplements were identical. I canceled and 2 months later a package of supplements arrived while I was gone and I called to send them back and they refused to take them back and I was charged. Watch your credit card as almost 2 years later they charged my credit card. Of course I protested and the card company eventually got it removed. My charge was only $30.00 but my friend was charged $200.00 on her card and she had canceled about the same time I did. They also hit her card the following
month."

"I really liked this months message on the MLM health product companies. I'm in MLM and proud of my company (not health related). I was in a MLM health product company and it really burnt me out. At Christmas time I sent many MLM health distributors to your website. They were hounding me to join their program. I told them to compare their prices to yours. They really did not like to compare because your prices were lower and your formulas are better. The program I'm with was designed because 85% of the people who join one of these health plans drop out. I will continue to send these people to your site. I was in one of these plans and I had the same experience you did. MLM's have to inflate prices to pay Reps! We had a colloidal silver product. 4 parts per million. Yours is 500 parts per million and costs a lot less. This is just one product. If I want health products I know where to go and where to stay away from. Have a nice day!

It may have taken me awhile to get to your newsletter, but I just finished reading the entire letter....Most of the MLM you mention include me...Alpine-Chi Machine in particular....I spent THOUSANDS on both companies....I cant's stand the pressure Alpine puts on people to "invest" $3,000 plus, just to get into their company. Plus, like you said, the tapes, brochures, etc, etc... Chi Machine was so hard to advance... I signed up lots of people, but everytime I tried to reach the next rank, they would kick me back a month....When I joined another similar company, they kicked me out and withheld my last check...I got at least FOUR registered letters from them... I am a licensed massage therapist and I use the chi machine in my practice.
