NO PROBLEM!
I have just returned from a foreign country where I was deeply impressed by the people and their attitudes. These people are in many cases poverty stricken and suffer much more daily stress than we Americans could possibly imagine. The remarkable thing is that they are not sick. Their bodies are very healthy, teeth are without decay and they are happy. One reason is because they are not poisoned by their environment, they still live off the land and grow and harvest their own vegetables and fruits. Their main protein comes from fish that they catch. They do not eat much beef. They also do not run to medical doctors as many of them know how to use the plants to heal themselves. The one thing that stood out to me above all else was their incredible warm attitude towards us. When they communicate with you, they move towards you and in many cases touch you.
It is quite the opposite here in the U.S. People very rarely ever really listen to others attentively and certainly do not show affection on the first meeting.
This warmth that they have is truly remarkable and I believe it is healing. The most important thing I can bring back with me are two simple words. These are said almost every time you speak to someone. It did not matter what was going on, their reply is always "NO PROBLEM".
I have given this a great deal of thought and in order for one to truly incorporate that into their lives one has to be very in-tune with the Divine flow of life. I challenge you to try this little phrase in your life. No matter what you are confronted with today and tomorrow always smile and answer ... "No Problem!"
You will not believe the difference this makes in your internal stress factor, and it usually makes the other person laugh. They may argue with you that there is a problem, simply tell them the solution and re- affirm ... "No Problem!"
In our Americanized lives we think we have so many problems and this belief causes a great deal of internal stress which leads to disease. Remember this prayer: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the strength to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference." In this prayer is the real gift of stress management and health and the wisdom to always say ... "No Problem!"
