BOSTON (Reuters) - Scandinavian researchers found that the main causes of cancer are the substances to which people are exposed, not their genes, according to a report in New England Journal of Medicine.

The research figures show most people are not destined to develop cancer because of their genetic make-up, Dr. Robert N. Hoover of the U.S. National Cancer Institute in Rockville, Maryland, wrote in a Journal editorial about the study.

Doctors now suspect that 80 to 90 percent of cancers were caused by environmental factors such as tobacco, alcohol, radiation, infections, pollutants, work place chemicals, diet and drugs, according to the Journal citing National Cancer Institute data.

This is something that many of us "fringe naturalist wacko's" have known all along. That is why I have spend over 15 years educating people to the hazards in the environment, in the home and at the work place. We are no longer in a time of a passive approach to health, "I get all my vitamins from my food" consciousness. You must now be in a pro-active, guerrilla warfare mode for your health. There are too many things that will steal your health from you, if you do not educate yourself and take appropriate action! If you do not educate yourself and take affirmative action be prepared to succumb to an arsenal of diseases that the medical professionals parrot, "We don't know what causes this and we don't have a cure".

Here are just a few that will do you in if you don't stop using them... Microwave ovens * Pesticides & Herbicides *Toxic hair sprays, hair dyes, toxic make-up *Tampons *Aluminum cookware * Cell Phones *Too much electromagnetic pollution - living under power-lines, - using computers without shields, - over exposure to T.V.
