SOME FACTS ABOUT WATER

Despite modern facilities, water remains an all-too-common source of both acute and chronic illness - simply because it is by far the most ingested substance on the planet. Chronic exposure to chemical contaminants is particularly dangerous and these toxins are highly insidious, causing damage over months and years, often with serious or deadly effects. Water contaminants can be man-made or naturally occurring.
The E.coli bacteria is responsible for an estimated 73,000 cases of infection and 61 deaths per year in the United States (Center for Disease Control and Prevention.)
Chlorine, used for disinfection, can react with organic matter to form cancer-causing trihalomethanes.
Pipes can leach lead, which cases a wide variety of systemic and developmental problems.
Until 1988, pipes and fixtures containing lead were used in construction. Most homes and offices built before then may have lead-containing pipes and fixtures in current use.
Pesticides have been discovered in every large watershed in the US and in a large percentage of groundwater wells.
In the US about 1,000,000 children under the age of six have a blood lead level exceeding the level of concern.
Acute pesticide exposure can be deadly, and chronic exposure, even at low levels, has been linked to cancer, neurological damage, and developmental problems.
The EPA Maximum Contaminant Level for the most commonly used pesticide, atrazine, is 3 parts per billion - that's less than one drop in a very large swimming pool. When animal or human wastes or fertilizers make contact with water, they become nitrates and nitrites.
Blue Baby Syndrome, a lethal form of nitrate and nitrite poisoning, can strike infants exposed to contaminated water. According to the National Pesticide Survey, more than 65,000 babies may be exposed to water with nitrates exceeding EPA-mandated limits.
Though most Americans depend on their local water utility to provide a safe water supply, testing and monitoring water contaminants is not as routine as most people think. The vast majority of the nearly 100,000 water systems in the US never or rarely test for most listed water contaminants because it is wildly cost prohibitive. Complete implementation of the testing requirements of the Safe Water Drinking Act would cost most small towns more than all police, fire and municipal services. More than 11,000,000 US households whose water supply comes from a private source must pay for their own tests or risk contaminant exposures.

ADVANCED LIVER CANCER... SHE IS FEELING BETTER!

Just to let you know, my mother-in-laws sister has liver cancer, advanced stage. I got her family out in Ohio to get the 4-Herbs from you and make the tea, at first they got the tea already made from the health food store and I told them to make the tea themselves. They did give her the tea since, they had already bought it, and then they started making it and after a few days she says that she is feeling better. I have not (except for the written testimonies) known anyone personally who it has helped for cancer but it looks like I do now! My friend has a pot belly pig sanctuary out in Illinois and one of the pigs had cell cancer and they are thinking about putting her down I called her immediately and told her to call you and get the herbs for the essiac (4-HERB TEA) and get it into the animal. Dear Marijah, I wanted to let you know about another case where the Essiac tea has performed a miracle. We have a friend in Colorado that was diagnosed for the sixth time with cancer. She received the news approximately at the end of February. Her cancer count ( I don't claim to understand exactly what this is ) was well over 100! My mother told me that they were giving her a 30 to 40% chance of recovery with chemotherapy! There was also talk of calling in Hospice, which is usually for the comfort of the dying!
