McCain RANT - Part 2 - The gist of this "McCain On A Rant" article that was published in our snail mail Member up-date for August is archived in the July on-line newsletter. It hit nerves all over this country! People were angry, people were mad and people went on a rant. I have received e-mails from members who wanted off our mailing list immediately complaining of the nerve of me to print this. I have received harassment from the mainstream and I have also received a very large number of wonderful e-mails from members telling me of their support! I had one member so mad she said she was going to alert all the media and the congress people about the closing of my clinic and the outlawing of the use of the title doctor in the State of Arkansas! I am not sure that was a good idea. Yesterday, I get a call from the producer of the NBC show Dateline. He starts off the conversation by saying they are sending a camera crew to Herbal Healer Academy. Doesn't ask me if it's OK, just tells me they are. I say hold on a minute, what are you doing a Dateline Show on. He says they are researching "Mail-in doctors". I ask him what the slant of the show will be and he says to expose the truth. The positives and the negatives about mail-in doctors. He also tells me that he has interviewed 12 of our members and has interviewed Clayton School of Natural Medicine for the show. Now, I am really upset at this point because, friend, our member data base is 100% confidential and has never left this property for any type of public access. We do not even have it on any Internet access computers! So how did he interview 12 of our members? So, I simply declined and said I was not interested in participating. Well, that went over like a lead balloon, and he said they were sending a Fed Ex package overnight and I was to respond on my letter head with an official decline so he could air that. I told him, I didn't have to do that and don't send it as I had no intention of writing to them. They he threatens me by saying, "Well I hope you understand that we are going to expose your web site on our show." Expose my web site to millions of people! Goody! I ended the conversation by saying, no problem showing my web site, however if you slander me or my company in anyway, I understand NBC has very deep pockets and I will take out a law suit that will rock the nation! So, after this lovely phone call, I called Mary in Public Relations at the Clayton School of Natural Healing just to verify that NBC had in fact interviewed Clayton. Guess what, the answer was no, she had not heard from them at all! I bet he was lying about the 12 members too! At any rate, rest assured I am not getting involved with the mainstream press that is manipulated by the money grabbers of corruption in this country. My work and the Herbal Healer Academy is for the select group of people who have the fortitude and insights into reality and know the truth already!
